CHRISTOPHER D. GRACE
Christopher D. Grace was born in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Mr. Grace received his Juris Doctor from the University of St. John's School of Law, Queens, NY and received two Bachelors of Arts in 1996 from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York.
Before founding Mucci & Grace LLP, Christopher served as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County. Mr. Grace prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony cases and was a misdemeanor DWI prosecutor from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, Mr. Grace was promoted to Senior Assistant District Attorney and prosecuted violent predicate felony offenders.
In 2006, Mr. Grace served as a Senior Assistant Distant Attorney in the Nassau County. Mr. Grace was assigned to the Street Narcotic and Gangs Unit prosecuting violent felony offenders. In 2008, Mr. Grace joined the Broome County District Attorney's office, where he prosecuted felony offenses and was the felony DWI prosecutor for nearly 2 years before being named a Senior Assistant District Attorney in 2010.
In addition to over 10 years of prosecuting experience Mr. Grace has experience defending criminal matters, family matters including child custody, support, abuse and neglect, law guardian, visitation, and civil defense. Mr. Grace is a special prosecutor and successfully defended a murder case.
Mr. Grace is admitted to practice in the Second Department of the State of New York. Additionally, Mr. Grace is admitted to practice in the US District Court of the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of the State of New York. Mr. Grace's areas of concentration are criminal law, personal injury and family law.
